Madison, September 4 -- WisconsinEye today announced it will begin gavel-to-gavel broadcast coverage of oral arguments in the State Supreme Court beginning tomorrow with three scheduled cases.
WisconsinEye President & CEO Chris Long said the network plans to cover all oral arguments on the Court s 2007-2008 calendar either live or tape-delayed on Charter Channel 200 and Time Warner Channel 163. All hearing coverage will also be broadcast and permanently archived at www.wiseye.org.
Were happy to respond to the Supreme Court s interest in having its proceedings telecast by WisconsinEye. Tomorrow will be a historic day for open government in Wisconsin and public access to our judicial process, Long said.
